Superintendent's Goals
July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025
The mutually agreed upon Superintendent’s objectives performance standards for the current school year are as follows:
Safety & Security: The Superintendent will continue work to provide a school environment for staff, teachers, students and families that are inviting, accessible, safe and secure.
Inclusive Environment: The Superintendent will provide a safe, respectful and welcoming learning environment that fosters a climate of support and respect and instills a sense of community among its students, families and staff.
Organizational Leadership: Superintendent shall work collaboratively with the Board to update and develop District policy as needed, display an ability to identify and rectify problems affecting the District, and work collaboratively with District administration to ensure best practices for instruction, supervision, curriculum development, management utilization, and work to influence the climate and culture of the District.
District Operations and Financial Management: Superintendent shall work collaboratively with the Board and BM Manager to ensure completion of activities associated with the annual budget; oversee distribution of resources in support of District priorities, and direct overall operational activities within the District.
Communication and Community Relations: Superintendent shall communicate with and effectively engage the staff, the Board, and members of the community, clearly articulating District goals and priorities, addressing local and broader issues affecting the District, and building support for District initiatives, programs, and short/long-range plans.
Student Growth and Achievement: Superintendent shall use multiple data sources to assess student success and growth as appropriate, specific to needs within the District, and as determined annually in collaboration with the Board of School Directors. Annual or other District performance objectives shall be articulated and clearly achieved under the direction of the superintendent, relative to standardized assessments, PVAAS, or other locally determined measures. Rebounding from COVID will continue with additional learning opportunities.
District Operations: Work to train all staff on 2024 Title IX changes and updates.
Address and improve transportation concerns.
