*Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance ($13)   CLICK HERE

You must have or log onto a Keystone ID account.  If you don’t have an account, it will prompt you to create one.  Use an alphabet character when you create your account.  Example:  N241968

Check the box “School Employee Governed by Public School Code”.  Volunteer clearances cannot be accepted for a paid position. The clearance may take a week or so to process.  You will receive an email when it is ready, and can then print your clearance certificate. 

 

 

*PA State Police Criminal Record Check ($22) CLICK HERE

"Submit a New Record Check"  for "Employment".  Volunteer clearances can not be accepted for a paid position.  You do not need the certified option.  The clearance will be processed immediately and you can print the certificate by clicking on "Certification Form".  Or you can provide us with your Control Number, exact name that you used, and the date you completed the clearance online so we can access the clearance.

Register online, and make an appointment at the location of your choice.  (The closest locations include Tableland in Somerset, The Learning Lamp in Geistown, and Alleghenies Unlimited Care Providers on Jari Drive in Richland.)  Take photo ID to the fingerprint location and pay onsite.  After you are fingerprinted, provide us with your UEID registration number so we can access the clearance.

Take the free online training and print the certificate.    

 

Act 168 PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release  CLICK HERE

You may need to complete several forms.  You will need separate forms for:
1. Your current employer; AND
2. All former employers that were school entities; AND
3. All former employers where you were in a position that involved direct contact with children.

If none of these apply, complete Section 1 and check the box "no applicable employment."

You must show two original forms of ID for us to complete our part of this form.  Acceptable forms of ID are listed on the form - usually a driver's license AND social security card or birth certificate; OR a passport.

 

  • *Clearances and Mandated Reporter Training must be within 5 years old at the time of hire.  If you are hired, they must be updated every 5 years.  The district does not reimburse for clearance expenses.
