BUDGET NOTICE

North Star School District

Regular June Board Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the North Star Board of School Directors will hold its next Regular Board Meeting on June 16, 2026 at 7:00 PM in the administration office at the North Star High School, 400 Ohio St., Boswell, PA. At this meeting, the Board intends to adopt the final budget for the 2026-2027 school year and to levy taxes for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026. The proposed budget is available for public inspection in the office of the Board Secretary, 400 Ohio St, Boswell, PA at any time prior to the time fixed herein for its adoption.

Notice is also given that it is the duty of every resident or inhabitant of the North Star School District, upon attaining eighteen (18) years of age, and every person eighteen (18) years of age or over becoming a resident or inhabitant of said School District, within twelve (12) months of the happening thereof, to notify the office of the Chief Assessor at 300 North Center Avenue, Somerset, PA of such fact and that any person failing to notify the said Assessor as above required shall in addition to the tax levied by said School District, be liable to the said School District in a penal sum equal to such tax.
